International Awareness
The International Awareness and Involvement Committee is dedicated to developing community programs designed to provide assistance, relief and resources to developing countries; as well as fostering local advocacy for social injustices and helping those in need. Please view some of GMAC's past service initiatives below.
Current and Past Programs
Worlds Aids DAY
The International Awareness and Involvement committee of the GMA chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. provided information and local testing connections in regard to HIV/AIDS awareness. A booth was setup at the Walmart Super Center in Greenville, MS on January 21, 2023.
Hertiage Across the Community
Chapter Members provided local adult living facility residents with meals based on other countries. This past year meal was from the country of Hatiti. Along with each meal, information about the country is given as well.
